Eva Mendes is both an actor and a model. A talent agent discovered her talent and convinced her to pursue a career acting or modeling. She decided to withdraw from college was the result of much reflection. Her debut was in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, but she wasn't thrilled about how it came out. To show her skills her worth, she appeared in several low-budget productions to develop her acting. While it wasn't an easy path to take however, her determination and perseverance were rewarded. The acting career began after she received not only praise but also acknowledgement for her performance on Training Day. Some of her well-known films include 2 Fast 2 Furious Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans and Holy Motors.
